SEPTEMBER 8th: Chancel Choir rehearsal resumes.
SEPTEMBER 9TH : Action Group meets at Azteca Grill. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, Sept. 9th, 2010 at 6 PM at Azteca Grill. This is our "Cookie Ministry" meeting. You need to do the following prior to our meeting on the 9th: 1.) Bake 2 different kinds of cookies/sweets/salty snacks (your choice!) and package them in individual serving baggies. The snack size baggies will probably work well for most "treats". I hate to give an "amount" to bring...just package up one recipe of each item.
SEPTEMBER 22nd: The Keen-Agers will meet and have lunch at the church. Guest Speaker: Helen Denton, Secretary to Dwight D. Eisenhower during WWII. , cost will be $8.00 per person. Reservations will be required. Please call Sara Melton for reservations 770 417 5535.
SEPTEMBER 26th: UMW fund raising lunch. Caterer – Ray J. Sign up sheet on the Table of Concerns. Cost will be $8.00 per person.
OCTOBER 24th: UMW Unit Meeting
NOVEMBER 6TH: Annual UMM Barbeque, Bake Sale, Book Sale and Yard Sale.
NOVEMBER 18th: Charge Conference: 6:30 p.m. – Forest Park UMC (Followed by a joint worship service)
